With kids or without, a trip to Tivoli is a must! It’s Denmark’s theme park that inspired Walk Disney. They have beautiful gardens too. It’s especially lovely during the Halloween and Christmas seasons.

A trip to Hans Christian Andersen’s birthplace, Odense, is a real charmer. They’re quintessential Danish homes–small and quaint. You feel like you’re walking through a storybook but it’s ever so real!

The boat tour in Copenhagen’s canals. I love me a city tour and this is a great one. You can see beautiful old and new architecture of the city. Denmark is known for great design and you can see both here.

Louisiana Museum. My favorite art museum in the world! It’s seaside location can’t be beat. In fact, you can walk on the sand! It has beautiful grounds and a wonderful art collection as only the Danes can do. They’re very good at involving children and being more lenient in rules than Americans
