When my daughter first started preschool at the tender age of 2, she immediately embraced the painting easel. To walk by and pick up a paint brush at any time her little heart desired just made my budding artist shine. And when the first piece of art showed up in her cubby for us to take home, I couldn’t have been prouder.
Fast forward to today. We’re in our third year of preschool and the art projects are FLOWING over here. I think I might be the proud recipient of eight new pieces of art per day. What to do with all of these projects? Well she has a lot of ideas, and most of them start with her asking me if I’m going to save it forever.
