Seventy-seven Girl Scouts of Cache Valley gathered on the campus of Utah State University to celebrate the princess in all of us. Girls came in full princess regalia (Disney, Sporty, Whimsical, Egyptian, Indian, Arabian, Asian, Country, and Gothic, among others).
Participants explored a number of questions together: What’s in your princess survival kit that empowers you, motivates you, and keeps you fit, healthy and happy? What do you have that enhances your inner beauty as well as your outer beauty? What keeps you focused on service to others and what makes you sparkle?
After a lively discussion, each girl participant was crowned and introduced to the crowd by her Princess Name. Next, the Disney show tunes started and there was an hour of dancing, twirling, lifting, bowing, and curtsying.
This fabulous event was hosted by members of Kappa Delta National Sorority who have been trained to deliver Uniquely Me! programming on behalf of Girl Scouts of Utah.
