No Knit Scarf Tutorials - Quilted Scrap Fabric Scarf and Pom Pom Scarf
I’ve just moved to New England after a year in Australia and am lapping up all the autumny-goodness this time of year has to offer. The colors and crispness surrounding me had me all inspired to whip up a few cosy accessories for the season, namely scarves! A girl can never have too many right? They always fit, and make great gifts for girlfriends. Knitting a scarf is lovely if you have the time and skills (both of which are debatable for me!), but it’s not the only way to make your neck cosy. Why not try these no knit scarf tutorials?
Using little colorful scraps of fabric I created a funky, freestyle scarf that would also look uber-cute on a little person, and then a quick and easy soft scarf with just the right amount of whimsy added thanks to some yummy pom-pom trim.
Add your own flavor to these ideas by mixing up the color or shape, making it perfectly ‘you’ – then make a couple more for your friends and go out on a pretty fall day and jump in piles of leaves!
May your necks stay nice and warm!
