Today’s theme is MAXIMUM IMPACT, MINIMUM EFFORT!

We talked about all the things we’ve been eating, reading, trying, and loving hard. And all of this stuff are things we’ve bought with our own money. None of this is sponsored. ;)

THINGS THAT MAKE US HAPPY THIS FALL

Buy Yourself Flowers!

We recommend the cheap bundle at your local grocery store. Sprouts and Costco are favorite stops! (You can spend less than $10!)

Bonus Tip: Don't spend $50-$100 on flowers for school dances. Rachael put together a sunflower bundle from Sprouts for her son's Homecoming date. Check it:

Eye Masks

Erin is devoted to her eye mask. Rachael mocked Erin mercilessly and accused her of wearing “eye lingerie”. You can find your own “Eye Lingerie” HERE and her current favorite (pictured below on her actual face.) Erin's current eye mask can be found HERE!

Paper Mache

Here's the bat that Rachael helped "mache" with the 4th graders!

Doorbell Camera

Erin installed a security system, but the doorbell camera is the gift that keeps on giving. Friends and family have started “acting up” on camera and it’s hilarious.

BOOKS

How to Celebrate Everything by Jenny Rosentstrock

I savored this book. Yes, it’s a cook book and it’s packed with so many DELICIOUS recipes, but it’s also such a sweet love letter to the family meal and the notion that cooking for and eating with our family is really fantastic way to connect and make memories. I love it so much. It’s dog-eared and highlighted and has a dedicated spot on my kitchen counter to it can inspire me at a moments notice.

FOOD

Check out our very favorite Thanksgiving recipe Raspberry Pretzel Jello Salad. It sounds weird, but trust us, IT’S AMAZING.

Rachael mentioned digestive enzymes for when things go a little off the rails, they are called Digest Gold, you can find them HERE!

King Arthur Gluten Free Pancake + Waffle Mix

This is the THE BEST WAFFLE MIX EVER. Even if you can eat all the gluten your heart desires, this is still the waffle mix of your dreams.
