1. Heart Printable Template for Valentine’s Day

Use these hearts to make a festive Valentine’s garland for your home, for a quick set of Valentine’s cards, or crafts for some easy decor for a class party.
2. Printable Valentine’s Day Cards

This is a quick and easy printable for your kids to make their own Valentine’s to hand out at school! All you need to add is a bag of Smarties and a bit of glue, and you’ll be ready to go!
3. Valentine’s Day Card To Make With Your Kids

It’s a little more involved (you’ve got to carve an actual potato), but it’s super fun, and the paint colors match those Starbursts perfectly!
4. Easy Origami Heart (Step-by-Step Instructions)

I used this tutorial for a class Valentine’s Day party craft for the kids. You can pick up a pack of origami paper from Amazon or the local craft store and let the kids go wild. To make it easier for them to follow along, I made a poster board that showed each stage of the folding.
5. 8 Non Candy Valentine’s Day Ideas For Kids

So easy, your kids can put their own Valentine’s Day cards together. And because we’re still working on our leftover holiday goodies, these are non-candy treats.
6. Thumbprint Heart Glass Magnet Crafts

Not only are these adorable, but they also are a cute keepsake! These are so fun to make!
7. Easy Friendship Rocks for Valentine’s

These are the most adorable rocks! A bulk order of rocks would make this a great Valentine’s Day class project idea!
8. Heart Painting on Canvas – 3 Ways!

We love this idea for mini canvases. It’s so fun that there are three different styles of hearts, and the personalization will shine through!
9. DIY Valentine Love Letter Garland

Felt is the best kid-friendly supply for Valentine’s Day, and there’s no better example than this DIY envelope garland. It’ll come together in minutes and make the entire room feel the love.
10. Easy DIY Valentine’s Day Gift For Tweens

Tweens can be tough to please on Valentine’s Day (hello, massive and CRAZY shift in hormones!) but you’re sure to melt their hearts with these sweet—and easy—air-dry clay keychains. Make them together or surprise your little BFF 4EVA with one you know they’ll love!
11. Felt Heart Keychains

A Valentine’s Day gift that is cute AND functional. These sweet felt keychains are easy to make with felt, embroidery thread, cotton stuffing, and a keyring. Quick and simple, it’s the perfect craft for older kids or a Galentine’s party.
12. Easy Paper Plate Love Bug Craft

My sister did this with her little girls, with a twist- she had them write/draw things they love about themselves on the bug (she calls her kids her love bugs- so it made sense for them)!
13. DIY Heart Shaped Crayons

These DIY heart-shaped crayons are a fun Valentine’s craft that’s fun, festive, and useful. You don’t even need to go out and buy new crayons; just use all the little bits and pieces you already have! And besides making something that gives an engaging new twist to an old favorite (what kid doesn’t love crayons?), you can also make personalized Valentine’s with them by adhering them to a card.
14. A Pocket Hug

Give more than just a Valentine, give a pocket hug! Here’s the cutest version of a DIY pocket hug that can be modified and personalized to your or your child’s aesthetics. Using materials you already have on hand is an option with this tutorial from Julie of the blog Sum of Their Stories because they’re pocket-sized, so they’d work well using little snippets of scraps. I love the retro handmade feeling of these!
15. Heart String Art Cards

String art is always fun to make, and this Valentine’s version from Debbie of One Little Project can be used on smaller cardstock for handmade classroom cards (note: this technique is good for kids old enough to use a needle). I love the results of this technique, and by letting your kids decide on the colors of the cards and the yarn, they can make them even more personal.
16. DIY Valentine’s Day Paper “Heart Attack”

I love to shower my family with love during Valentine’s Day, and one of my favorite ways to do this is to heart attack my kid’s bedroom doors. It’s a sweet way to remind them of why you love them. Start with one heart on February 1st and add one each day until February 14th, or make a full-on door heart attack on Valentine’s Day Eve while they slumber unawares. It’s sure to bring a smile to everyone’s faces–even your moody teen! I had just as much fun as my kids doing this.
17. Heart Suncatcher

This activity is easy and stress-free. It’s fun for little ones and teenagers alike, and all you need is some construction paper, contact paper, and tissue paper. During the cold February months, who doesn’t love a little stained glass heart bringing a bit of color into the winter landscape?
