You receive a monthly box of clothing (6 pieces) for your child tailored to your style and specifications. You’re shopping on auto pilot!
My first shipment for my two year old arrived last week. I was so excited for it to be delivered. The anticipation was driving me a little crazy, as I usually don’t pay for something sight unseen.
When I filled out my daughter’s profile, I stated that she needed pajamas, leggings, and shirts and that she liked pink, purple, and green. When I chatted with the stylist who called me shortly after I placed my order, I explained that she is petite and that she wears a smaller size on the bottom than she does on the top. I told her that I did not want tank tops (hello, summer is almost over!) or anything with slogans or characters on it. The stylist asked me many, many questions and I was hoping that all of my answers would lead her to a winning combination of clothing.
When I opened the box, I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised. The pieces were neatly rolled and the contents were so colorful that I couldn’t wait to dive in! There was also a cute Wittlebee sticker inside, which was a nice touch. I must mention that my two-year old was pretty excited about all of it, as well. That girl appreciates a good outfit.
We received a Laughing Giraffe cotton dress with pink polka dots. It is adorable and my daughter wanted to put it on immediately. Definitely something I would have chosen had I been shopping on my own.
She also liked the second piece, a nightgown, that was included. It is full of color, with a butterfly pattern and a fun, flowy hemline. It is so cute, my husband actually thought it was a sundress, but I reminded him that it was, in fact, sleepwear. Love it.
The third item in the box was a pair of gray leggings with a lace detail on the bottom. These could be paired with many different things; under a skirt or paired with a longer top. They followed my size request, with these being a smaller size than the tops that were in the box, meaning she can wear them now instead of six months from now. Yay!
The fourth item was a sleeveless top made by Trish Scully. I had never heard of this designer, but it is something I would wear if it came in my size. It wasn’t the softest of material, but the design made up for it! Really cute and vintage-y and chic. This piece would be great with jeans or some cute leggings and it has already been worn.

The fifth item was a lime green corduroy skirt. This is something I probably would not have chosen, but sometimes I need to get out of my own wardrobe ruts and this may help me do that. The skirt would actually look really cute with the gray leggings, so we may pair those together this fall with a long sleeved shirt.
The sixth, and last, item was a plain yellow t-shirt made by American Apparel. It is ginormous on her and my least favorite item in the box. I’m not against basics, and it is really soft, but it just doesn’t have much shape to it. Maybe I’ll like it better once she grows a little and it fits her a little better. For now, it will sit in the dresser.
Overall, my experience with Wittlebee was superb. I feel like the quality of clothing in the box is high and that my requests and specifications were taken into account. Plus, how fun is it for your child to get a box just for them each month? Actually, maybe it’s more fun for ME.
What is also great is that each month, as your child’s style and size changes, you can leave notes for your stylist. I left a note for mine that next month, my little girl needs long sleeves, dresses, and pants. I love that they take your climate into account, too, because us Seattleites need to dress a little different than our Southern California buddies.
I would love to hear what you think about this Wittlebee concept. Would you try it?
