Of course I enrolled as a consultant so I could get the wholesale discount. I have an obsession with making creams and lotions, toothpaste etc….so I was browsing the world wide web for some cool ideas to use up my coffee grounds with my essential oils and found tons of info on cellulite and puffy eyes. Here’s an all natural and effective method that is safe and won’t break the bank. Most of the high end cellulite creams have this in common – coffee!!! Caffeine helps to decrease puffiness and melt away that stubborn cellulite. This is just an aid of course because you’re eating right and exercising regularly right? 😉

Anywhoo- I simply mixed in a bunch of used coffee grounds and added olive oil and coconut oil until I got a nice pasty scrub. I also added some yummy essential oils of my choice. I scrubbed it on and wrapped myself in seran wrap for about 30 min and rinsed it off. I’ve used it twice so far and it makes my skin smooth and moisturized, but I haven’t used it long enough to remedy any cellulite problems. It feels wonderful! In the meantime, you can read more in the fabulous Crunchy Betty blog. This is one of my favorite blogs for crunchy recipes and essential oil knowledge and more…have fun!

I dread winter each year because many of my depression busters require sunny skies and temperatures in the 70s. What does a girl who kayaks and bikes for sanity do in the winter? Lots of things. Here are a few of them:
