Don’t you hate it when you have a lot of Watermelon left over from a party and you don’t want to waste it, but it ends up in the garbage or compost bin…..

WELL, don’t throw it away. I have the answer for you and you will LOVE IT! This is a YUMMY one for sure. The best part is there are options to this recipe. Not only can you just drink the lemonade, BUT if there are leftovers you can pour the remainder in some fun ice cube trays and have some fun.  All you need is your leftover watermelon (seedless), strawberries, 1/2 cup of lemon juice (fresh or the bottle) and blend. Oh, by the way….. I don’t measure, I go by taste.

Hand full of strawberries, slice them if you need to.

Hand full of Watermelon, sliced if needed.

1/4-1/2 C lemon juice. I would start with 1/4 and then add to your own personal taste.

and then blend……. Taste…. add a little sugar if needed…. taste

Enjoy!!!!!

Now, I did say you can use Ice cube trays, but what for? Well, if you don’t add any extra sugar, this is a healthy snack for the kiddos. Pour the left over lemonade into some ice cube trays. Set the timer for 20 minutes. Get the ice cube trays out, and put tooth picks in them. Then put them in the freezer till they’re frozen. Pop them out and have a yummy cool treat on a HOT Utah day. Get little cups to have the kids put them in and they’ll have fun.

You can also pop the cubes and put them into some sprite and have a refreshing drink.

There are some FUN options for you with your leftover goodies from ANY party!
