It’s impossibly easy to make, is made with real ingredients and tastes like the greatest American comfort food you’ve ever put in your mouth. Kids LOVE it.
- 12-16 oz uncooked macaroni
- 4 Tbsp butter
- 1 12 oz can evaporated milk
- 1 1/2 C half & half
- 3 C shredded cheese
- 8 oz cream cheese
- salt & pepper to taste
Spray slow-cooker with cooking spray, add butter and turn on to low. In a separate pot of boiling water, cook the macaroni to al dente and drain. Add to butter in slow-cooker and stir.
Add the additional ingredients, reserving 1 cup of the shredded cheese and stir to mix well.
Cook on low 2-3 hours. During the last 15 minutes add the remaining cup of shredded cheese on top. Keep the slow-cooker on warm until ready to serve.
