Whenever one hosts a party, one of the first questions to ask is ‘what are we going to drink?’  Today I’m sharing a very pretty cocktail from my friends at Seattle-based  DRY Soda, which would be perfect for  any summer soiree you are hosting.  With only four natural ingredients and sweetened with a minimal amount of pure cane sugar, DRY Soda is certified gluten free. This cocktail (as long as you check your rum’s content) is perfect for your gluten free crowd.

Rhubarb DRY Soda

Serve: Collins glass

Garnish: Basil sprig and strawberry

Directions:

  1. Muddle basil and strawberry in bottom of cocktail shaker
  2. Add ice, rum, and lemon juice. Shake 5 to 7 seconds
  3. Strain into ice-filled Collins glass and top with Rhubarb DRY Soda
  4. Garnish with basil sprig and strawberry.

What I love about this light cocktail, it reminds me of a spritzer and is so refreshing. I am all about engaging my guests at my events so I would totally print out a directions card, set up a cocktail area and have guests create their own Strawberry Collins.

I was provided DRY Soda free of charge by the company or PR agency and I provided my honest opinion. This review is based strictly on my opinion and others may have a different opinion or experience with DRY Soda.
