Yesterday I planted six tomato plants. It’s going to go two ways. I’m either going to drown in tomatoes or I’m going to kill five and a half out of six of the plants, and I’ll end up with about eight tomatoes total. I’ll have to chew them really slowly to make sure I savor them.
Next up on my garden growing extravaganza is zucchini. People tell me that zucchini “takes off like wild fire,” and “is so easy!” The phrase “is so easy” really speaks to me, so I’m going to give it a try. I’m already on the lookout for zucchini recipes because I feel like zucchini IS a vegetable that really takes off and then people don’t know what to do with it, and they end up shoving it on YOU, the lucky neighbor.
