Miracle Baby: Stranger Helps Save Infant In Dramatic Roadside Rescue

This amazing story of a miracle baby who suddenly stopped breathing only to be saved by strangers will blow your mind.

This story reminds me that that in a world filled with so much chaos, there are still many kind-hearted people who will literally halt everything to help another human being, even if they’re strangers, and even if it means pulling over on a dangerous, busy highway.

Pamela Rauseo was driving in Miami with her infant nephew, Sebastian, when he suddenly stopped crying. She pulled over, tried to stimulate him, and quickly realized the baby had stopped breathing altogether. She pulled him out of the car, placed him on the side of the road and screamed for help.

Lucila Godoy pulled over immediately to help. When she heard Rauseo calling the baby by his name, Sebastian, she could not believe it, as her son was also named Sebastian. Even more fortunate was that Godoy had recently taken infant CPR classes in her native Venezuela. The two worked “as a team,” said Godoy, performing chest compressions and breathing into his tiny mouth until first responders arrived and the baby was taken to an area hospital, where he is now in stable condition. Sebastian is a true miracle baby.

It turns out good samaritans do exist! What would you do in a situation like this? Have you ever been surprised by the kindness of strangers?
