We love going to Easter egg hunts but sometimes hosting your own is just as fun. Today, I’m sharing festive ideas for snacks and decor, plus clever activities to creating your special holiday tradition, an Easter Egg Hunt Party.

Color Coded Egg Hunt
To make the egg hunt fair for everyone, how about assigning each child a different color to fill their basket with? This is great for guests of various ages. Add in a few golden eggs containing prizes or coupons that can be traded in for larger treats.

Healthy Treats And Snacks
Sure, Easter means chocolate and jellybeans but you can still make healthy treats and snacks fun; A Subtle Revelry‘s paper bunny fruit bags; One Charming Party’s too cute rabbit food party table;  Better Homes & Gardens‘ carrot lemonade; Beyond Wonderful’s colorful Easter egg sandwiches.

It’s still a party so you will need some kinds of sweet treat. Check out my easy polymer clay bunny cupcake toppers for Moms & Munchkins.

Pretty DIY Decor
A fun way to decorate for your Easter egg hunt is to pick a motif and run with it….like carrots! Paper carrot garland from Fiskars; carrot centerpieces from Love Grows Wild; Urban Comforts’ coffee filter carrots; Spoonful’s carrot tree.

Crafting It Up
After the egg hunt, settle everyone down with a simple craft or two. Set up a few crafting stations to create items that double as party favors. Plastic eggs and felt embellishments make fun creatures with BHG; printable bnnny ears from HGTV; paper plate chick from Simple As That; carrot play-dough from That’s What Che Said.
