This week the internet voted and grandmas win. If you haven’t yet seen Macklemore’s new Glorious music video, sit yourself down, press play and get ready to call your grandma immediately after. Celebrating her 100th birthday in glorious fashion, Macklemore devotes the day to her. What follows is a montage of fun, crazy (there may or may not be a male stripper involved) and tender moments between Macklemore and his sweet grandmother who was clearly overwhelmed with love for her grandson. When the video went live, Macklemore wrote this on his Instagram, “Grandma – nothing is more Glorious than you. Happy 100th. Thank you for the Werthers Originals. The advice. And for being a part of something that I’ll treasure forever. Love Ben”

Take a look at Baddiewinkle’s feed and you’ll see she doesn’t take herself too seriously. She’s living it up and has no regrets doing it. It’s obvious why she has a following. She’s fun and rebellious and has the wisdom of a great-grandma. In a recent interview, she revealed the key to a happy life: “The key to a happy life — now this is my version: You’re always smiling at people even though you just meet them on the street (most of the time [you ‘ll] get a smile back), and go to church (I’m a very Southern lady), and always be kind to every human that you meet. … I have met a lot of people and I think that they would say that about me.”
