Whale Watching Season

Whale watching season is quickly approaching!

Witnessing the great migration of approximately 20,000 gray whales from the Bering Sea feeding grounds to the Baja California lagoons is an incredible experience.  I went with one of my sons last year, and watching the whales cruising along was thrilling.  You can read about my experience here.

The Birch Aquarium is partnering once again with Flagship Cruises for the fourteenth year to provide you an experience you won’t forget.  The  twice-daily cruises with naturalists from the aquarium provide you with a rich expedition to see the gray whales and learn a lot about these beautiful animals.

Gray Whale season lasts from December 26, 2013 to April 13, 2014.
