Orlando is a fabulous city filled with lots to do, but you don’t need a park pass to all the theme parks to enjoy what they have to offer. In fact, my in-laws flew down from Michigan a few weekends ago to celebrate their 20th wedding anniversary and they wanted to go to Universal, since none of us have park passes we decided to plan a day trip to Universal that didn’t involve the park!
You would be surprised how easy it is to spend a day at Universal Orlando without park passes, we had an absolutely wonderful time!
And just as a tip, if you plan on going later in the day, parking is just $5 starting at 6 PM.

Oh, and the kids menu is fantastic. My son got mini-burgers and my daughter got the Ninja Nuggets (chicken nuggets). The kids meals were generously portioned and came with a side and dessert. They even came to the table in adorable bento boxes.
The Cowfish is full of bright colors, smiling faces, and great food – the next time you are at Universal Orlando, my family and I strongly recommend checking them out!
Need a place to go and just unwind and have a beer or margarita with friends? There are lots of great places to choose from at Universal CityWalk.

There are street performers, something fun happening on the Center Stage – when we were there, the DJ was having the kids do a scavenger hunt, or play in the water fountains to cool off.
