Go Dog Go! at Dallas Children’s Theater

Enjoy Four-Legged, Floppy Eared Friends at DCT Jan 24-Feb 23

Big dogs and little dogs.  Dogs in cars.  It’s a carnival of color and dance and song in Go, Dog. Go! playing Jan 24th through Feb 23rd, 2014 at DCT’s Rosewood Center for Family Arts.

In a series of rollicking vignettes, dogs of all shapes, colors and sizes travel by boat, car, scooter, roller skates and unicycle.  Among all the hustle and bustle, these floppy eared, four-legged friends even manage to slip-in some important life lessons.

P.D. Eastman’s book, “Go, Dog. Go!” is a family favorite that uses single-syllable words in rhythmic repetition for beginning readers, and honors the simplicity of the world around us.  It’s a classic book turned into a unique stage adaptation filled with music, physical comedy and wondrously loopy anarchy.

Pianist and composer B. Wolf will to play non-stop throughout, and in addition to the show’s score, adds her own unique, creative touches.  Costumed as Music Dog, Ms. Wolf creates a compelling and dynamic musical experience as she interacts casually with the action.

Join the party – a big dog party!  Enjoyed by ages 4 and up.
