This Saturday, August 17, the Port of Portland’s Terminal 4 is opening up (FREE!) to the public for a full day of fun. Registration for their Seaport Celebration begins at 9:30 a.m. with the event starting at 10 a.m. and ending around 4 p.m.

Partnering with The Alphabeticians and the Victor Johnson Quartet, many artists and professional chefs, Terminal 4 will be bustling with something for everyone in your family this Saturday. There will also be jet boat rides for only $5, a Kid Creations Chef Competition, The Waterfont and Me Competition Award Ceremony and the chance to try your hand at welding, enjoying local artwork hung on the shipping containers and eating delicious food.

While the event itself – and parking – is free, there will be safety concerns/check ins, so please visit Port of Portland to learn more (like, bringing your state issued driver’s license and NOT to bring folding chairs or pets).
