My kiddos are just old enough that when they were babies I was never more than arms-reach away from my well worn and dog-eared copy of What To Expect When You’re Expecting. Then, as my babies grew more books joined my coffee table library.

As chill and relaxed as I was about raising my babies, I was just as curious about wanting to know if my baby was progressing and growing at a good pace.

“Are we on track?”

“That kid is RUNNING and mine is super pumped to still be sitting in the middle of the floor.”

“That baby just wolfed down a whole chicken nugget. I’m still dishing out puffs and yogurt…should I be offering different foods?!”

And I know I’m not the only one. It’s what moms do. Even if we’re relaxed and know that our babies move at their own pace, we want to be doing as much as we can to fill those little spongy brains with as much as they’ll soak up.

And while I’m not throwing shade a books, (I love books!) I am a fan of bite-sized pieces of info that I can essentially grab-and-go…

Enter the best new all-in-one app for baby: WeeSchool

Customized for YOUR EXACT BABY

As you setup your account, and put in your baby’s info your app will be customized for your child’s age which means you’ll be coached and inspired by age appropriate information about milestones and activities. And as you track your baby’s progress through developmental milestones, if your baby doesn’t meet a milestone (NO WORRIES!) that milestone will move into the next month with you so you can keep working on things like “waves bye-bye.”

The WeeSchool App does so much more than just track developmental milestones. For each milestone you can read quick information about why the milestone is important and ideas and activities for how you can help your baby achieve it. You can also track the task individually for your child and even capture the moment with a photo or video. Ponder that for a moment—your baby gets the hang of “patty cake” and you’ve got a video and journal note to commemorate the moment and it is super easy. (WEESCHOOL WHERE WERE YOU 9 YEARS AGO.)

The vibe of WeeSchool is bright and motivating. Their goal is to make parenting babies easier, more effective, and more fun.

Play Plans

Most parents aren’t looking at a 4 month old and thinking, “OOOOOH! We’ve gotta get you ready for preschool!” But every parent I know worries a bit before they send their toddler to preschool and wonders if they are ready. WeeSchool offers parents guidance for teaching babies and toddler through play. Sold already on WeeSchool? Then quick! Download and register for the app here by June 1 for a free lifetime premium upgrade.

Offered in a sequence, month by month so your baby can build on what they are learning—for example playing games that help with eye-hand-coordination in month 8 so that in month 12 they are ready for games that encourage pushing and pulling. This is backed up by child-development and educational research.

And if this sounds like I’m suggesting the we’re taking the fun out of playing with that squishy baby, I’m not. The WeeSchool app includes songs and a library of interactive books that you can enjoy with your baby and toddler.

I’m not gonna lie. I have some serious guilt about the lack of journaling/scrapbooking I did when my kids were babies. I was so tired. I was flying by the seat of my pants. And time to sit down and write down all the things and make it comprehensive and wonderful, was something I just did not have. I would give anything to be able to tell you when my kiddo said their first word or took their first steps but it’s all a blur and my husband I high-five each other that we made it through those whirlwind early years of parenting.

WeeSchool includes two journal sections —one for chronicling monthly photos and the other for capturing photos and video of milestones, along with a journal to track those developmental achievements! (And of course you can export all of it.)

WeeSchool will prompt and remind you to snap a photo and fill out information, so your tired mom brain can have one less thing to keep track of.

WeeSleep helps you set nighttime routines and even includes a musical nightlight and sleep tracker. Tracking sleep annihilated me when I was in babyland. I was rotten at setting up healthy sleep habits for my baby…something about my babies being soft and snuggly and me never wanting to put them down…

WeeBathe also includes pre-bath activities and bath time concerts so you can make the most of what is usually baby’s favorite time of the day.

Are you thinking, “PINCH ME WeeSchool sounds fantastic!” well, of course it does. It was the brainchild of the creator of Baby Einstein, Julie Clark.

Download the WeeSchool App here by June 1 and you can register for free, lifetime access to all Premium WeeSchool content and features.(So if I’m you and I’m going to have a baby…EVER…I’m signing up for WeeSchool right now.)

Available in iOS only, but coming to Android this later this year!
