My 9 year old son had been looking forward to this party for 6 weeks.

As a mom (and admitted gamer that’s grown up with technology since Atari, Commodor64, and the original Nintendo) I WANT MY OWN GAME TRUCK PARTY!!!

When the Game Truck trailer arrived, it was big enough to fit 20-25 kids (plus a few of adults). It was equipped with comfy leather couches, 4 flat screen HDTV’s, Wii, Wii U, Xbox 360, and Playstation. The truck could be kept open or closed — there are 2 large openings that create an awning and allow for parents to watch the fun. I will admit as children began to leave during the last hour of the party, THAT’s when the grown ups took over. My brother (35) and I (37) enjoyed competing in various games together (just like childhood). This is an AWESOME party idea. I absolutely loved it! Not just for my kids–this would be fun for adult parties or even team building events for employers.

One of the highlights of the party was getting the opportunity to try the new Skylander Swap Force game (released October 13th). It is the next in the Skylander series of games (1. Skylander Spyro’s Adventure, 2. Skylander Giants). Skylander Swap Force is sure to be at the top of Skylander and gaming fans Christmas lists this year. Swap Force does allow the use of preceding game characters. However, Swap Force has 16 new swappable characters, hence the name. These 16 new characters are comprised of a top and bottom piece that you can easily pull apart (my 2 year old does it) and create a new character by attaching it to another, giving you 256 new character combinations. I’d say that’s a little more bang for your buck.
