Teacher Appreciation Ideas

We just had teacher appreciation week at school.

Which is soon to be followed up with end of the year teacher gifts.  Let’s just say I wasn’t super prepared with cute ideas.

It was recommended to bring “fresh-cut flowers from your own garden” which I found to be an entertaining suggestion since I have to fight to keep a tomato pant alive.  And a bundle of weeds doesn’t scream appreciation, even if it is tied with a bow.

Thanks to a good flower find at Trader Joe’s we weren’t rolling totally empty-handed, but as my daughter was decorating her hand written cards with stickers of dog food last night, I felt like we could have done better.

One of her teachers told me this morning that she had gotten a card with poison stickers on it yesterday, so I do think we might be one step ahead with the dog food decorations. Come end of school, I’m going to be ready. And probably next year too. Check out the links below for some awesome teacher appreciation ideas.
