Last year I saw our beloved Ballpark in Arlington transform into a bonafide international holiday experience like none other in North Texas called the Christkindl Market (kris-kin-dill). Bringing the magical tradition of markets held throughout Germany during the Holiday season, the event features authentic German cuisine, beverages, entertainment, arts, crafts and holiday gifts, Nov. 29 – Dec. 15.
I’m so happy this free event returns again for an A-Town tradition that includes an official tree lighting, Christmas caroling and many gifts you can’t find anywhere. Last year we just spent a few hours enjoying our time together in the perfect holiday setting. So pack up your stroller and “take a trip” across the world to enjoy an authentic German holiday. *I highly suggest the tasting the Gluhwein, which is a new holiday tradition of mine that I can’t wait to repeat!*
