KidsFest San Diego 2014
KidsFest is a weekend-long “Celebration of the Imagination” with a fun-filled agenda to ensure a great day out for families.
Kids will have a great time at the various stations provided. The Creation Station is a make-and-take tent where kids can work on crafts to take home. The Messy Zone includes goops, gobs and gunks for digging in and getting hands dirty. The Build It Square is a place to construct a castle, design a Reading Nook and play and create. The Green Thumb Market has more than just plants, allowing kids to make seed bombs, touch friendly bugs, and plant some produce. There’s also a dance party with DJ, Dress-up Alley and other places to shake, rattle and roll.
KidsFest will be the weekend of May 17-18 at Liberty Station in Point Loma. You can buy your tickets online. There are early bird discounts, so get tickets early if you know you are going. Parking is free. All activities are free once inside KidsFest. Only food from the food trucks will be extra.
