In celebration of Earth Day, Utah’s Hogle Zoo will be holding a Party For The Planet.
Saturday April 30th 2011
10am to 3pm
The Association of Zoos and Aquariums is throwing a party – over one hundred parties throughout the country to be exact – to Party for the Planet. Join us as we celebrate the earth with animal enrichment, presentations, and informative booths. Learn about all the small things you can do that will make a big impact on our planet. Bring an old cell phone to the zoo for recycling and get $1 off your zoo admission that day (one discount per person, per phone). Visit the Utah’s Hogle Zoo website for more information.
Party with Hogle Zoo and other zoos and aquariums around the nation as we celebrate the planet. Learn what Hogle Zoo is doing to help the planet, from recyclable plates in our concessions areas to solar panel use on top of our elephant building, also learn what you can do at home too! Enjoy a planet full of live music and dance from different cultures throughout the event. “Green minded” organizations will be on grounds to let you know what they are doing to keep our Earth beautiful, and to help you think locally to make a difference globally.
