I know, you don’t have time for crafty cleverness with a classroom set (or two) of kids when you have a life. There is nothing wrong with store bought Valentines, but if you start now, and do a few a day, you can create one of these valentines.  They are only little once; my oldest is a 5th grader and this is his last year of passing out valentines…sniff!

I’m not a big fan of candy Valentines…last year, we kept it healthy with fruit Valentines.  I took a poll of each child’s favorite fruit and addressed the valentine that way.

Anything in a tube is coolness…check out these dinosaur ones featured on The Twinery Blog?  Upcycle spice jars or purchase them from organizational stores like Storables. These would be perfect for the teachers and special adults in your life.

Handmade Christmas Ornaments

One of the things I absolutely love about the Christmas tree is all the handmade ornaments hanging from it.
