Home to America’s tallest indoor Christmas tree, sparkling with nearly a quarter million lights and more than 10,000 ornaments, Galleria Dallas has been the epicenter of all things Holiday in Dallas for more 30 years. Kicking off the holiday season with the raising of the iconic tree, guests can experience the magic of holiday by adopting an angel from the Salvation Angel Tree, meeting with Santa, listening to holiday musical entertainment, enjoying special ice‐skating performances by U.S. Olympic Star Brian Boitano and Missile Toes, Galleria’s pyrotechnic skating Santa, at our Macy’s Grand Tree Lighting Celebration – and that’s all in just one day!

The holidays begin with the traditional decoration and raising of the country’s largest indoor Christmas tree. A crew of 50 helps to works round‐the‐clock to setup Dallas’ iconic holiday tree in grand fashion.

MACY’S GRAND TREE LIGHTING CELEBRATION

Every show features Missile Toes, Galleria’s ice‐skating, back‐flipping pyrotechnic Santa Claus, live performances from Olympic and National Champions and local children performing to introduce the lighting of the country’s tallest indoor tree. U.S. Olympic Champion Brian Boitano kicks off the Macy’s Grand Tree Lighting Celebration at Galleria Dallas for two special performances on Nov. 23 at noon and Nov. 24. at 5 p.m.
