The Farmyard Darlings, a local duo with the hearts of cowgirls and a knack for finding treasures, have put together some great new stuff with which to deck your halls for the holidays.
Check out uniquely designed Christmas stockings and decorative wreaths made of antlers. Be sure to visit the shop to see the best selection of leather cuffs, western-wear aprons and jewelry for those special somebodies—or bring along the family and let them fulfill your wish list. Be sure to check out their selection of vintage cowboy boots (but keep your hands off those pink ones; I’m hoping Santa will find a way to cram them into my stocking) and ‘redneck wineglasses’ made from mason jars and old candlesticks.
The Farmyard Darlings, Carole Sinclair and Kim Berry, began their business of tracking down unique farmyard relics in 2010, with an eye for pieces with a farm-y charm and the need for a little cowgirl TLC. Carole and Kim are two sweet horse-loving women who love looking for treasures among discarded ranch ruins. They’ve made coffee tables from barn wood, and suburban backyard chicken coops from recycled wood.
If you’re looking for custom pieces or a little advice on how to give your place an upgrade, make a ‘Get ‘er Done!’ appointment with the Darlings for them to come over and help you to add that magical touch. They’ll help you design (and deliver!) your very own chicken coop, install real sliding barn doors in your home (how cool is that!), or find just the right vintage treasure for your place.
Visit the Farmyard Darlings’ back forty (yards, not acres) shop, located in lovely downtown Lafayette (behind the Mt. Diablo Nursery) for unique gifts, and Christmas décor with a down-home feel.
