Earth Day Fun – Cardboard And Trash Parties
Earth Day is April 22 and my next couple of posts will have a few fun ideas to celebrate and inspire you not just that day, but all year long. Today’s post is about two unique party themes that I so adore because not only are they eco-fab, but what a great idea to “recycle” all of your recyclables by using them as birthday decor.
What toddler doesn’t love playing with cardboard boxes? One year old Reid got to celebrate with his friends at this wonderful party featured on On To Baby. From bubblewrap hopscotch, and using lots of paper products, to a cardboard play yard filled with boxes that were transformed in rocket ships and trains, so much fun and eco-friendly ideas.
This Rock N Roll Bash from Warm Chocolate features a drum set made from boxes and an amp repurposed from a nightstand. And you can’t miss those cardboard guitars.
