Check into your local children’s museum, most of them host daytime parties like New Year’s At Noon at Bellevue’s KidsQuest, Seattle Children Museum’s The New Year Countdown and our personal favorite, Rockin’ New Year’s Eve at Everett’s Imagine Children’s Museum.
Wanting to stay in? Last year, my menfolk and I had a Rockin’ New Year’s Party, complete with a photo area, treats and party blowers. We spent the evening toasting in the different time zones as they came into the New Year. They actually made it to midnight and we watched the fireworks over the Space Needle!
