There’s a lot to celebrate in Roanoke besides the original “some of the best friend chicken in the South” Babe’s Chicken

That’s why the powers-that-be created Celebrate ROANOKE! Everyone is invited on October 13 to celebrate Roanoke on their beautifully renovated downtown Oak Street.  Enjoy live music, fabulous food, fireworks and all kinds of FREE fun with historic gunfights, street dances, karaoke, magicians, marionettes, clowns, climbing wall, bounce houses, old fashioned carnival games, motorcycle rodeo and Rising Star Stage Youth Vocalist performances.

And don’t forget Roanoke is the Unique Dining Capital of Texas, so there are 40 different dining destinations to enjoy a meal. (Of course, I still suggest Babe’s for one of them!)
