Build Something for Summer at Lowe’s: Arts and Crafts Activities
I recently found out that Lowe’s Home Improvement stores throughout the Bay Area offer Build and Grow Activity days on a regular basis. These are special days when kids can come in with their parents or other caregivers for free clinics that teach them how to build fun toys out of wood. The instructions and supplies needed are all provided by Lowe’s at no charge.
This month’s theme appears to be building wooden toys with a Madagascar 3 movie theme. They’re pretty cool. You can see what the finished products will look like at www.lowesbuildandgrow.com. You can also register for a workshop and get more general information about these build and grow days at the website. Or contact your local Lowe’s store to see when the next clinic is being offered in your area.
