If you live in the Wylie/Murphy/Sachse area, you’ve no doubt heard the buzz about the new the movie theater opening in Wylie (our very own movie theater, YAY!). Well, we finally have an opening day!

The Wylie 12 B&B Theatres will open on April 26th.

There is lots to be excited about. The Wylie 12 theater will have 12 theaters, and one of them – the B&B Grand Screen – will have one of the largest screens in the DFW area. With a floor to ceiling screen, over 8,000 watts of sound, and leather rocking chairs (nice!), it will be an experience movie-goers won’t want to miss.

The movie times haven’t been scheduled yet, but the B&B Theatres website does show that Forrest Gump will be playing one time only on May 9th at 7:00 PM for just $5. I don’t know that I’ve seen Forrest Gump since it was originally released…I may see a date night in my future!
