For a brief period of time when my son was a preschooler, he RAWR’d all of his answers. As a baby he shrieked in a way that made us call him the Baby Pterodactyl. I can pull photo after photo out of my archive of toy dinosaurs in all sorts of creative spots around my house.

This one was from almost 3 years ago. Guarding the piano, I guess?

Our love of dinos runs DEEP, people.

So when Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom trailers and videos started to surface earlier this year, my kids were FULL of questions. It was exciting and thrilling and they could not believe those dinosaurs cruising across the screen weren’t real. Eyes big as dinner plates. Now that Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is available on Blu-Ray, we had to check it out!

We’ve watched clips and even saved our chore money for a Jurassic World LEGO set.

My point: DINOSAURS, COME AT THIS HOUSEHOLD.

Two kiddos, homework, extracurriculars, and work—movie nights are what we live for! To snuggle in and enjoy a movie and a pile of treats.

These days I’m all about easy, fast, and fun. How can I make the biggest impression on my kiddos?

A big pile of movie treats to match our film!

Happy Watching!

*Please note: in our experience, this is a movie best saved for older kiddos that can handle some of the more intense parts of the film.
