Back To School Mix

Back when I was in college, there was no such thing as iPods and a dorm room allowed precious little space for much of anything, let alone massive racks of CD’s. So my roommate and I enjoyed a regular rotation of a small library of albums. I honor of the upcoming school year, here is my mix of songs that take me back to freshman year.

Old School Road Trip Mix

My parents used to load me up every summer for a road trip. Since this was WELL before portable CD players, I was at my parent’s mercy when it came to music. These old songs always remind me riding in the back of that old jeep.

Commuter Mix

The morning commute can be the pits. Even if it’s only from your bedroom to the coffee pot…sometimes you just need a musical attitude adjustment. Just try to stay cranky while Louis Armstrong sings “What a Wonderful World”.

These are all songs my infant daughter loves and dances to while running errands, hanging out in the house etc. Some are children's songs, and others are ones we've just discovered that she likes.
