Attention all chicken farmers! The gauntlet has been thrown down and it is time to step up your chicken run game.

That is, of course, if you want to keep up with people like Mitzi Ballard and her husband, who built themselves a real live Wild West town just for their beloved birds.

Seriously, from a livery stable that’s basically a barndominium for chickies to a saloon, this homemade chicken town has it all. The poultry can feel free to stop in at the cafe or mercantile while staying at the local hotel.

They can even get repairs done at the blacksmith’s shop.

But they best be watching their behavior around the roost lest they find themselves behind bars, because—like any good townschicken in the West knows—the sheriff’ll have your tail feathers if you cluck outta line.
