Las Lomas High School Big Band Swing Dance
Calling all Swingers! If you love dancing, jazz and supporting a good cause, check out Las Lomas High School’s Big Band Swing Dance on Friday, March 15th. Don’t worry if you’ve got two left feet, because the night begins at 7pm with a ballroom dance lesson. Then at 8pm, once you think you can dance, grab your partner (or a stranger!) and, dance to some swingin’ big band tunes provided by the Las Lomas High School Jazz Ensemble. Hors d’oeuvres, beer, wine and cocktails will be provided, and proceeds will go to the Las Lomas High School Performing Arts Foundation—investing in future drama queens (and kings) like mine, in the area.
Tickets are $40 per person or $70 per couple and available in a couple ways: visit the Walnut Creek Farmers’ Market on Sundays on Locust Street (next to Target) or go online to purchase them.
