Glendale Glitter isn’t called a Festival, but it sure is alot of fun! We have been to it a couple of times, sometimes we just looked at the lights and shopped and one year we went when they had all of the hot air balloons out, as well as rides, petting zoo and other fun stuff to see.

Gilbert Balloon Festival

December 13 – 15

$10 Admission, Free Parking

I have been trying to go to this for a couple of years now, hopefully this time I will make it! They will have balloons lifting off in the morning, fireworks on Saturday night, and live entertainment. There is more information on their facebook page.

Phoenix Festival of the Arts

December 13-15

Free Admission

This art festival will have three days of performances and art displayed everywhere. There will also be a family zone for kids to make their own art. They also will have a wide array of food trucks along the street, so not only do you get to see art but also taste it!

Peoria Festival of Cheer

December 14

$5 Child Admission, $7 Adult Admission

The Festival of Cheer will have a kids zone with 20 tons of snow for the kids to play with, there will also be crafts and pictures with Santa. Their main idea is to share different cultural versions of cheer, so there will be many different cultural booths and performances.

Somerton Tamale Festival

December 21

Most of the festivals I have listed are around the Phoenix valley. I didn’t even know where Somerton was until I looked it up (it’s in Yuma County) but a Tamale Festival was so cool that I just had to list it! I would love to go to this if we can make the drive down.

Casa Grande Arts and Crafts Festival

December 21

Free Admission

Right before Christmas the Casa Grande Arts and Crafts Festival will have a neat array of different unique gift items. There will also be a children’s section and “an eclectic mix of food vendors”.

What festivals will you be attending this year?
