Let’s Pretend Tea Parties

A few blogs ago, I gave a raving review on a dainty tea place called Chocolate Angel.

If you and your mini-me are looking for a similar type of venue, but geared for kids (no breakable tea sets here), grab your stylish hat and head over to Let’s Pretend Tea Parties located in Grapevine.

My family and I have strolled past this cute store while visiting downtown Grapevine. Unfortunately, the store was closed on the evenings we visited. I was pleased that we had another chance to visit as one of our neighbors’ daughters was hosting her birthday party there. Immediately, I was mesmerized by all the charming and dazzling merchandise. I made a mental note to be sure to get a second glance before leaving the tea party. In another room and towards the back was a centrally located white mantle, tables surrounded by chairs, and plenty of boas, wands, costumes for little girls to play dress up, and loads of fancy hats.

Rather than pay an arm and a leg visiting the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at Walt Disney World, look no further. Little girls can play dress up, have cosmetics applied, enjoy tea/ snacks and strut down a catwalk in our own Texas neighborhood.

I was so taken by Let’s Pretend Tea Parties, that I’d be willing to host my next birthday or special event there.

After the girls had their fill of the tea party, they were chaperoned  outside in the nearby pavilion and marched in their costumes, make-up and gleaming smiles. They were simply adorable and looked like Fancy Nancy.

I would definitely recommend Let’s Pretend Tea Parties for your little princess. It was such a fun day!
