I seriously can't STAND potty training. I've only done it once, and I don't even think my daughter qualified as challenging, but it has been my least favorite parenting challenge so far. Asking your kid 498 times a morning if they have to go potty only to have them tell you in the MIDDLE of Target that they have to go when your cart is full is a test of patience for any mama.
She's done, and I was SO done from the experience that I actually gave the potty away. She's not an only child, and my son will be there before I know it, but I seriously needed such a break from that thing, that even the garage wasn't far enough away.
So when people tell me that potty training a girl is MUCH easier than potty training a boy, a tiny part of me wants to cry. Is this really true?
While I'm enjoying his diapers now, I know I'm going to have to tackle this beast, so I'm researching strategies...
