Amy Hallali enjoys expressing herself creatively through design. She worked as a professional graphic designer in Seattle for over 14 years, until the birth of her twin daughters. She designed their nursery with a twist on the alphabet theme - the artwork was in French and English to incorporate their father's French heritage. The girls enjoyed the artwork and learned the English and French translations. Amy printed an alphabet book featuring the artwork for their first birthday. It was a hit! With the help of the twin's long afternoon naps, she put together an interactive website that allows customers to design their own personalized gifts using Amy's artwork. She is thankful to have this flexible, creative outlet that allows her to stay home with her children. "The humble alphabet as objet d'art - très chic!" - Urban Baby
