Style: A Maxi Dress for Tall Girls
I'm a huge fan of maxi dresses for easy summer dressing, but I've heard over and over from my tall friends that they can't find maxis that fit! I'm the flip side, a shorty, so I'm forever having to take up hems. In a lot of ways, that's easier: slicing a foot of fabric off is a lot simpler than having to sew on a foot of fabric.
Well I found a maxi dress for tall girls by accident!
I ordered this little kimono sleeve maxi number from Target.com, and when it came it was about 6 inches too long for me. I immediately called my tall friends to tell them I'd found a maxi for them! It's only available online, not in stores, but you can't beat the $24.99 price tag! Bonus: the dress is really soft.

As for me, I'll be taking the dress up and using the extra fabric to alter the neckline so I don't have to wear this dress with a tank/camisole.
