I've said it before, and I'll say it again...
I'm not Rachel Zoe. And I'm sure that my own fashion is not always spot on, but one thing that I am absolutely sure of is that socks and sandals are the exact opposite of peanut butter and jelly. They do not, I repeat DO NOT go together. Ever. The only thing they have in common is that they both go on your feet. If you are reaching for your sandals, common sense would say that it's warm weather. If it's so warm that you're going to set your toes free, there is no room for socks in that equation. And if you're freezing and reaching for your socks to warm up, you sure better be reaching for a pair of shoes instead of your sandals.
I feel really strongly about this. My four year old tried to pull this junk the other day and I actually gasped when she walked into the kitchen. She clearly has not heard my mantra.
Just in case you think you look good in your S & S look, let me provide you with this photographic evidence...

Please. It just doesn't make sense.
Don't confuse your toes, set them free in sandals. When it's warm enough of course!
