Snap! 2010 goes down in the books as one crazy year. But of course, with all of the crazy comes all of the good.
Here are a few favorites that I must share:
Fashion & Beauty Finds:
I embraced skinny jeans this year and I like them more than a friend.
I've got to be honest though, I've had neither the time nor the green to be a fashionista this year (but really, have I ever? On my favorite day I can still be found in a hoodie!).
I really dig the pair of Sanuk’s my son is rocking. They also double as his church shoes when he's wearing khakis!
Chocolate Fleur de Sel Caramel tart from Talisker on Main in Park City. I fought people (Breanne, Erin, and Jyl) for it and licked the caramel off the plate. We were suppose to share. They had to order their own.
It took me awhile. And it’s inappropriate. But thanks to @jet_set I’ve been properly indoctrinated into “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia”
Tech & Gadgets Finds:
Oh always Apple. It’s always you. The new fangled phones with amazing mad silly video skills, the iPad, and the fairy that left me something on my desk that makes me weep almost every time I sit down. (it's got a big silver screen and I love it).
Favorites things that embarrass me and horrify my family:
I make the best face at my husband at random. But I find it most entertaining when I make the face when we say goodnight. I call it snaggletooth. It's horrifying. But I'm proud of it.
Favorites from 2010:
Song and Album:
I realize it's not from 2010 but nevertheless it's one of my favorites from 2010.
Rise by Eddie Vedder - Into the Wild
Modern Family - seriously, the Fizbo the clown episode had me dying on the ground!
Conan - Coco wearing Jeggings. That's all I need from TV.
Diary of a Wimpy Kid
Toy Story 3
and I’m looking forward to The Chronicles of Narnia
Better - A Surgeon's Notes on Performance by Atul Gawande
This book is a great study for every aspect of our lives, an engaging and quick read.
Oh I all ready told you! Red Laser
Handsome Man's Club - c'mon - watch it again!

Favorite Facebook status update:
Most regrettable Facebook status update (your own):
Um, I’m just going to say it was really the saddest, scariest status update I’ve ever made.
More details on my husband's car accident here.
Favorite tweet (your own):
Dang. There are too many tweets to sort through. I've almost sent 10,000 tweets! That's nuts. period.
Blogging in 2010
What great blogs did you discover this year?
Too many to count! Between all of the conferences I've attended this year I've met lots of great bloggers I hadn't known about before. I am going to say though that I particularly dig a project that one of my friends worked on called FoodPress. I think it's a great aggregator (is that a word?) of food blogs.
What did you kick to the curb this year?
Any shred of belief that I have any control over my life. The Big Man's got that covered.
What/who did you realize you are particularly grateful for?
That bodies have an amazing capacity to heal. I'm so grateful to have my husband and for my kids to have their dad this Christmas.
What did you do this year that you’re really proud of?
Survived. And that we put on one heckuva conference at EVO -thanks to everyone who helped!
What word sums up 2010 for you?
Holy-$@&* Can that be one word?
What would you have done differently in 2010?
Best vacation/weekend getaway of 2010.
How could this not be it?
What did your kids teach you this year?
Resiliency and simple faith.
What are you looking forward to most in 2011?
I know it’s not really a new decade, 2010 started that. But I make my own rules. 2011 is for all intents and purposes a new decade. I look forward to the leprechaun type luck that we will have in the next decade.
What is your #1 goal for 2011?
For things to be really boring and uneventful. (except for when it’s exciting and fun)
