PLAY-DOH Sweet Shoppe Frosting Fun Bakery Playset

When Hasbro generously offered to allow my four year old daughter the opportunity to review the PLAY-DOH Sweet Shoppe Frosting Fun Bakery Playset, I jumped on it. The week before she spent about an hour and a half plowing through all of the PLAY-DOH in our house making "baseballs" and pressing it into cookie cutters, so I couldn't wait to see how long an actual playset could hold her attention.

And the answer is HOURS.

PLAY-DOH Sweet Shoppe

It arrived during a play date and was quickly set up and put into action. The only peep we heard during that play date was when she and her friend kept getting up and serving us with our frosted creations. Otherwise it was all cookie stamping and cupcake decorating. Her friend eventually had to go home, but the afternoon continued with much more creating. She whipped up pretzels and made me croissants. She squeezed out frosting and switched tips to make sure her piping was perfect. And when she had created enough treats to stock a bakery, she told me that she needed more PLAY-DOH, much, much, much more PLAY-DOH.

It held her attention, captured her creativity and she didn't need help. Which meant that I did dishes, put in a few loads of laundry and MIGHT have read an US Weekly on the couch, just sayin'.
