So I hope that everyone reading this post doesn’t lump themselves into the “I’m a painter” category.

I certainly don’t, and that’s why I want to tell you about this fantastic opportunity!  While I find anything creative extremely relaxing and therapeutic, blank canvases highly intimidate me.  I don’t know where to start.  I don’t know what to create.  What colors should I use?  When I heard about GNosh, I was extremely excited!

**From their website…**The G’nosh experience is all about expressing emotions with paint and canvas; let the paint and the music move the painting. You will feel the stress leaving your body with each stroke. Relax and let the emotions flow.  G’nosh is a fun place where we provide the canvas, paint and all other supplies with expert, friendly instruction while you and your friends paint your own masterpiece that you take home at the end of the night!  All you supply is the willingness to explore your artistic side and any beverage of your choice that you bring with you! Sound like fun?

Well, it is fun.  A lot of fun!  I love how they guide you through each step.  For a non-painter like me, that’s exactly what I needed!

It’s the only place where I can start with a blank canvas and end up with my own version of Golden Streets that I would be proud enough to hang in my home!  When my daughter saw my painting for the first time, she asked, “How the heck did you do that?”  She’s seen my past paintings so I wasn’t surprised by her question!

In the Dallas area, GNOsh has a location in Richardson.  It’s so easy to sign up.  Simply go to their site, click on Richardson and view their painting calendar for the month.  When you find the one you want, click register.  It’s that easy!  Through the end of December, GNosh is running a special.  For only $25, you get 2 1/2 hours of painting time with something to take home at the end!  Isn’t that awesome!  It’s especially fun to go with a group of friends.  Sign up today…you’ll be glad you did!

DIY Chalkboard Paint

It's Saturday and I'm feeling projecty. It's also April and it's been snowing for 3 days now! So since I won't be kicking any projects off at my house today I might as well kick this puppy out of my drafts and pretend I painted something!
