Fathers Day from Pinterest
I have a hard time being creative for Father's Day -- partially because my husband's birthday is nearly at the same time, and partially because I don't like corny presents. Thankfully, here are some ideas I found in the fabulous world of Pinterest.
Father's Day Goodie Bags from Little Family Fun
My husband rarely wears a tie, but it's kind of the main symbol of Father's Day. We'll roll with it.
Tip Junkie has a great roundup of Father's Day ideas. She was inspired by this "We [heart] Daddy" photo, but neither of us can find the original source. Kudos to whoever clicked it! Think of other ways to photograph your kids and present that as a framed gift.
I'll help the kids make this Candy-gram Card from Bits of Everything. Note: This idea is interchangeable for many occasions and people, such as a teacher appreciation gift.
"The Very Many Varieties of Beer" poster was originally one of my Pinterest pins, but then it was removed. It's available for purchase from several sources, including Pop Chart Lab.

If you want to go full-bore on the beer idea, Craft A Brew has different types of kits available to start a home brew of Daddy's own. Hey, "Daddy's Own" is kind of a cool beer name. Copyright Erica Fehrman 2012.
If beer isn't your family's thing, here's a great post from Not Dabbling In Normal on how to make Soda Pop and one from America's Test Kitchen Feed on making Root Beer.
Now I need to figure out a meat-based menu for my man. I'm eying this Slow-Cooker Honey-Soy Pulled Pork from Noble Pig...an incredible site of recipes in itself.
