I decided to take up crochet to keep busy when The Todd forces me to watch something on the World War Two Channel with him–there’s nothing more inspiring than the drone of an announcer explaining the flywheel mechanism in the German Panther Tank engine–for sixty minutes.  Anyway, I found the Free Crochet Patterns eBook last week and tried it out.  For newbies or experienced, there’s lots of fun new patterns, and maybe something to make for Mother’s Day?  One of my first attempts is seen here.  Not perfect…okay, not even close, but I’m absurdly proud of it.  Download your free book here.
