What was your big dream?
Chance: To find a solution and rid myself of the anxiety I felt each time I packed a lunch that created a lot of GARBAGE!
Lynn: To start my own company from scratch!
How did you accomplish it?
Chance: By creating a company called Kids Konserve that educates children, families and schools on the importance of going waste-free and reusing with our waste-free lunch kits and other reusable products.
Lynn: Just decided to go for it. If not now, when?
Where did you find inspiration to get started?
Chance: I love design, so I took images and my experience as a long time employee at Design Within Reach to create a product that looks clean, and easy to understand using graphic patterns we had designed.
Lynn: My friend and co-founder and my kids!
What motivated you to keep going?
Chance: My desire to help make a difference and to stop filling our landfills and oceans with trash.
Lynn: That we were on a roll and also to show my kids I will not give up.

What's your next Big Dream?
Chance: A year off in Italy.
Lynn: To make it a successful business, travel to parts of the world I have not seen.
Who is your hero?
Chance: My mom.
Lynn: That is a tough one; so many people inspire me in different ways. Probably my Mother-in-law, she just takes it all in stride.
What do you wish you did better?
Chance: Relaxed.
Lynn: Ski!
What book is on your night stand?
Chance: The Reader, Setting Limits: How to Raise Responsible Children, 365 Days of Richer Living.
Lynn: About 10 that I want to read, The Shack is at the top
What is your favorite lipstick?
Chance: Oh, I just had to switch, as I am learning about how lipstick if full of things we do not want on our lips – so am still searching! Ideas?
Lynn: Definitely Bobbie Brown, nude.
What is your favorite quote?
