Steamed Broccoli Recipe with Orange-Ginger Dressing and Walnuts

This steamed broccoli recipe with orange-ginger dressing and walnuts is fresh and healthy!

This steamed broccoli recipe pairs nicely with chicken or pork. It's a nice change from plain broccoli or the many cheesy broccoli recipes and casseroles in existence. I love the fresh taste of orange added to the crisp broccoli (which my kids call "trees")!


1 Tbsp. peanut oil

1 Tbsp. soy sauce

1 Tbsp. honey

1Tbsp. grated orange zest

3 Tbsp. orange juice

1 medium garlic clove, peeled

1 piece fresh ginger root, about 1 inch, peeled

1/2 tsp. salt

1 recipe Steamed Broccoli

2/3 c. walnuts, toasted and chopped

2 medium scallions, thinly sliced

1. Place oil, soy sauce, honey, orange zest and juice, garlic, ginger, and salt in food processor. Process until smooth.

2. Prepare broccoli and place in serving bowl when cooked. Rewhisk dressing and toss with broccoli, walnuts, and scallions. Serve warm or at room temperature.
